Perth Golf Course Tournaments and Special Events
The
Perth Golf Course is nestled beside the beautiful Tay River
located within strolling distance of the historic Town of Perth. It's vintage shops are the historical venue
for celebrating your annual golf tournament, wedding, business meeting,
anniversary or other special event. Experience the beauty and tranquility of
Canada's Oldest Golf Course and have your special event become a part of its
history.
The Tay River darts in and about the manicured
fairways and greens providing a scenic splendor to
an exciting golf course. The river supports a spectacular setting for our
island green and provides a theme for an additional 10 ponds which surround
or parallel many of the fairways.
 The Clubhouse has
seating for approximately 160 persons and a large dance area is for your
enjoyment. The dining room, a spacious room with soft cushion conversation
areas, and a large and lengthy oak bar, is connected to an outside patio.
Each of these venues offer a spectacular view of the
golf course.
Tournament packages for golfers include a
foursome planner, scorecard, pencils ball markers ,
tees and divot tools. Handicap information and a listing of various golf
formats (ie; scramble, scotch two ball etc) are
available as well our Director of Golf will assists you in assuring your
tournament will be a success. To add to your prize table Perth Golf Course
will make an appropriate addition. Special purchasing and pricing
arrangements are available from the Pro Shop for your prize
table.
Tournament specials include the facilities of
our elegant dining room, our famous char-broiled steak and
barbecued chicken dinners, complete with choice of salads, potatoes,
vegetables and your favorite deserts. Our Chef will
be glad to assist you with special requirements and to offer further
suggestions.
The Course is licensed and bar cart services are available. On
the course to make inquiries or to book your tournament or special event
contact our club house manager using the telephone, fax or email information.
Additionally if you are planning a tournament your package
includes a foursome planner, s corecards, pencils, ballmarkers for everyone, handicap information and a list
of various golf formats and how they are played (e.g. scramble, two ball,
etc.). Once you've decided which format to play our proshop
staff will take care of all the details including scoring and handicapping.
To help with your prize table, Links O'Tay will
donate a set of 2 X 18 hole green fee passes for
every 28 green fee players participating in golf and meal. These passes are
for return visits and cannot be used in conjunction with any special events.
The Links O'Tay is a completely licensed
establishment and will provide your tournament with the services of a
refreshment cart during play. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your day at
the Links and we will do all that we can to ensure that you leave completely
satisfied with your choice of venue
