Welcome to our Friday Mixed Twilight League. Our goal is to provide a fun-filled evening
each and every week. League play will
start on May 9th with registration starting at 4:30pm and golf at
5:30pm.
A schedule has been drawn up with different games of golf
each week. Cost to join the league is
$40.00 per person. This gives you a chance at the prize table each week and your meal and
prize at our closing tournament on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at
12:00 noon. Prizes, dinner and a dance
will follow the tournament.
Weekly sponsors will be limited, but we will have some
handouts each week. There will be prizes
for longest drives and closest to the pins for both men and women and a few
draw prizes. Gord Jones of Giant Tiger
has again donated approximately 17 dozen golf balls for the 2008 season as
well.
Due to previously scheduled functions in the upstairs dining
room, our schedule will indicate whether our evening will be upstairs or
downstairs in the lounge / patio area.
Chef Don Smith will provide meals similar to other twilight leagues, and
some nights may be a BBQ.
The league is open to anyone, whether or not they are a
member of the Perth Golf Course. This is
a great way to come out to play golf, have dinner, and meet new or old
friends. There is no charge other than
green fees (for non-course members only) or cart fees.
Our league was a huge success in 2007, with 80 members, and
is expected to grow in the 2008 season.
