Welcome
to Tuesday Twilight Golf for the 2010 season.
Our goal again this year is to provide an enjoyable evening each and
every night. Attached is our 2010
schedule with our starting date being May 4th, 2010. Our Tuesday Twilight Fee will be increased to
$65.00 due to increasing costs. These
funds will be used for the meal at the closing tournament, gift cards to each
twilight member and door prizes for the tournament. Each person will get their $65.00 investment
returned to them in one way or another.
In order to get as much participation as possible we are again allowing players 55 and over to play from the white tees if they choose to. There again will be prizes for longest drive from Blue and White tees.
I
would like to welcome back all our sponsors from last year and also welcome our
newest sponsors for this year, Brankin Plumbing & Heating and
InsulTech. To show our appreciation for
their continued support, we will be holding a sponsor’s appreciation night on
July 13th, 2010. The night
will be sponsored by Regan Lee of Coldwell Banker Rideau Heartland Realty. It will be golf as usual for all members,
guests and sponsors. All sponsors will
be invited for a round of golf and appreciation gift supplied by the Perth Golf
Course. On behalf of the men’s
association, a meal and refreshments will be supplied to each sponsor who
attends the evening.
We
would like to welcome back our hole-in-one sponsors again this year. Pierre Hofstatter of Canadian Tire is back
with a $500 gift certificate for an ace on hole # 3 and Brad Hasler of A &
B Ford Sales is back with a $1,000 prize package for an ace on hole # 15. Tom Burns of Burns Jewellers will be
repeating the $100 gift certificate on hole # 8 for closest to the pin. Skip Patterson and the Perth Blue Wings Jr. B
Hockey Club are again donating two home game passes for the 2010/2011 season
for closest to the pin on hole # 11.
Gord Jones of the Giant Tiger store in Perth is again donating Callaway
golf balls for weekly longest drive prizes.
Our
closing tournament this year will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 with a shotgun
start at 12:00 noon. This will be our
last day of golf, as twilight play will not continue for any days after the
tournament. Again, thank you to Kevin
Kinch of Kinch Carpentry for sponsoring our 4 closest to the pin holes for the
Tournament.
Due
to an increased number of golfers coming out to play golf before twilight, it
has been suggested by the Pro Shop that tee times be booked to confirm your
play. If you don’t book a tee time to
play nine holes of golf before twilight, the Pro Shop might not be able to
accommodate you.
Your
